WIORA 2026
Many thanks to our sponsors, our volunteers, our PRO John Leech, Riona McMorrowMoriarty who produced the most amazing prizes, Kevin on the BBQ, Mick Warr on the tunes, Glass House rocking the roof off and most importantly to the sailors who made the effort to join us for WIORA 26. The marina staff looked after all of the boats in some heavy weather and made fitting in so many visitors look easy. The crane service as always was fantastic. Many of our members delayed putting their boats into their berth or moved around to accomodate a visitor and their help is greatly appreciated.
We are already looking forward to Foynes 27 and hope to see you all there
Liam Lynch, WIORA Commodore
Amendment No. 1 to keelboat SIs: ‘When two concurrent series (Tuesday /Thursday) do not meet the required number of races for a valid series (3 races) they may be merged to form a single series’.
(NB this will only happen if both series do not achieve the required number of races. If only one series is deficient the races are carried forward to the next appropriate series)
